About Me:

Hi! My name is Justin and welcome to my world of OOAK figures and couture fashions. I've been collecting vintage & modern dolls and figures for over 20 years now! My first two dolls in my  adult collection (Western Ken and Mod Hair Ken) where spur of the moment purchases while going antique shopping with my Mother & Grandmother who encouraged me to buy them since I admired them the entire time I was in the antique shop.  They were only $5.00 and from then on I was hooked forever!

It took me the next 8 years to realize I really wanted to collect dolls and figures as a serious hobby, and eventually it spread over into customizing. I have learned a lot in the past several years and I love to share my latest creations. I also design couture clothing and costumes as well. 

In  early 2018 I ventured out into the professional doll community serving an intern for the World of EPI, the brand behind The Fresh Dolls & Positively Perfect Dolls created by Dr. Lisa Williams as one of the customer service coordinators for the social media account of “The Fresh Dolls”, and providing administrative duties to the CEO Dr. Lisa and helping coordinate the intern program under the supervision of VP Patricia Edwards.   

Later in Fall 2019 I transitioned into a new doll career opportunity as the Public Relations assistant for “I Am U Dolls”/McIrby, ent. working a PRN basis.  I act as the "eyes and ears" keeping Stacey aware of new trends in the doll community, scoping out new prospects by offering marketing strategies for the social media account of @iamudolls (Instagram)/“I Am U Dolls”(Facebook)/Website: www.iamudolls.com.  Responsibilities also include contacting business associates, following up on email inquiries and administrative duties for our CEO Stacey McBride-Irby who is a well known former Barbie designer who has designed some of Mattel's most popular dolls such as the "So In Style Barbie" as well as her own entrepreneurial doll line "The Prettie Girls".

I am also excited to be the group owner/moderator of the North Texas Doll Collectors group on Facebook!  We welcome all doll collectors in our area who would like to participate in sharing content and interacting with like minded adult doll collectors! :)
